Hi All,
The peas are finally coming up nicely, we've started lettuce from seeds
and Jim just put in the broccoli raab and yellow beet transplants.
Fingers crossed. Hope all of your gardens are gettin' it on, too.
Sustainable Ballard has a booth at the upcoming Seattle Tilth Plant Sale,
May 2nd and 3rd. This is a fabulous plant sale and a really great place
to hang out, chat about plants and gardens. The booth will have info
about Sustainable Ballard, the Garden Guild and Urban Crop Circle. There
will be 2 people on for 2 1/2 (that's two and a half hours) hour shifts,
easy peasy and it will be fun.
Here's the schedule, just send an email to Ingela at sustainableballard.org
and she'll pencil you in.

Second thing is that Organic Gardening has an online article about the
salad table, which is a very cool, easy to build tray that holds salad
greens and allows folks with very little room the ability to grow greens.
