See you at The SLUG,

================================================================
Summary:
1. Cascadia Edible Landscapes is a great company (see EatYourYard.com).
2. If *you* act quickly (by Monday evening), you can get a hot crop subscription (squash, peppers, tomatos, etc) delivered NEXT WEEK. (The SLUG could earn some extras to share in common if there's enough new subscriptions.)
3. If *we* reserve quickly, we can get a training class NEXT SUNDAY (June 5) led by one of CEL's experts. (Price will depend on enrollment. We have to honor their time and expertise. I'm targeting $20-25 per "team" for a 2 hour class.)
Having a class lead by an expert at turning yards to gardens would be a great learning experience, community-building opportunity, and a great way to get those hot crop plant starts off to a great start.
================================================================
Background:
Cascadia Edible Landscapes (see htttp://EatYourYard.com), has deep expertise in turning lawns into food. They have evolved the CSA (community-supported agriculture) subscription model from delivering food to delivering plant starts that grow up to be food. They deliver plants 3 times a year. Hot crops (tomato, squash, peppers) are ready now.
