Hi Victor: -- I think I’d recommend you take a look at this article http://www.attainable-sustainable.net/sticker-shock-what-the-stickers-on-fruit-are-telling-you/ -- including their “update” at the bottom.  

 So, while it is interesting that the PLU’s are apparently established (I’ve never seen it verified, but it probably could be true) so that they COULD be used that way (good idea!) it has never been reported that any GMO producer/marketer has ever VOLUNTARILY chosen to label their GMO stuff!  And it is of course not MANDATED – which is EXACTLY what needs to be the unified insistence by all organic producers and especially – consumers.
