I can offer my house for October, but not September ... guests will be coming.  I live on Queen Anne.

Dear fellow gardeners,
 
Please note the dates for the next two upcoming UCC meetings:
 
1. Monday, Aug. 9, 6:30 p.m. pot-luck 
Location: the home of Susan Helf, 740 N. 82nd St. (82nd between Fremont and Linden Avenues N.)
No program. Bring stories about and fruits of your garden. I will provide a main dish and beverages. 
 
2. Monday, Sept. 13 (the first Monday of September is Labor Day)
at 6 p.m. 
Location: TBA.  WHO WOULD LIKE TO HOST THE MEETING?
 
Program: a speaker from Seattle Tilth who will address a topic
to be chosen by the group from list below. 
 
1. gathering and saving seeds
2. hay bale gardening
3. cover crops
4. winter gardens
5. harvesting
6. soil building
 
Please email Paula Jensen by Aug. 15, at pjjenson1 at hotmail.com, 
and tell her which topic you prefer.
