Hello Gardeners,

Thanks to everyone who showed up to help do the seed-splitting! I was
surprised and pleased at how many folks showed up. I really appreciate it
AND it was fun.

For those of you who don't yet have your seeds, they will be at the next
UCC gathering on Monday, March 1st. Since I won't be there, payment can
be given to Ingela.

Also, anyone who would like a copy of the packet (most of the seeds are in
little generic envelopes) please contact Carol (contact info below). She
has all of the original packets and has generously agreed to make a
photocopy for anyone who needs that information. Carol thank you for
taking care of that.

If anyone is wondering what to do with the seeds now that you have them,
then the next Urban Crop Circle meeting is a good one to attend.

Ingela Wanerstrand, owner of Green Darner Landscaping Designs, will give a
primer on when to start seeds indoors and out and answer questions. If
you have any good materials for figuring out when to start and plant, feel
free to bring it along.

The next gathering is Monday, March 1st, at Carol Ann Isaac's house:

Where: 2152 5th Avenue West on Queen Anne
When: 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Why: Because it's fun
How: Directions below, who wants to carpool?

Carol lives two houses south of McGraw on Queen Anne. She will have hot
tea for everyone.

If Metro bus stops are helpful, the #2, #3, #4 and #13 all come close to
her house.

Carols email is: carolannisaac at msn.com

Also, just so everyone knows, Candace has generously offered to have May's
gathering at her house. If anyone wants to jump in for April, that would
be great.

I am sorry to miss the meeting but I look forward to seeing everyone in
April. Happy planting!! Rhonda
