Hi All,
We are fortunate to have a wonderful gardening speaker on Monday, June 1st
for the Urban Crop Circle gathering. Julianne Jaz will give a talk on
mulching and succession planting at 7pm.
Since Julianne is willing to come and talk for free I would encourage
everyone to bring a little something from your garden for her in way of
payment.
Thanks and see you then! Rhonda

Subject: Re: CSPS #2- HOT CROPS ALMOST READY!
Hello and Happy May-nia Fellow Gardeners!
Quickly, CEL's Community <http://www.eatyouryard.com/2008/05/20/csps/>
Supported Plant Starts Program is pleased to announce that our flats of hot
crops will be ready for delivery next Thursday (5/28-Mark your Calendar).
Please spread the word as we still have some shares that we would like to
see growing in your (or your neighbor's yards).
About Community Supported Plant Starts (CSPS)
We created CSPS to support you turning Seattle into an edible city where
front and back yards feed the individual, the family, and the community. We
support beginning and seasoned gardeners with well planned successions of
plant starts that take the guess work out of vegetable gardening. Throughout
the growing season CSPS members receive flats (10x20") of mixed veggies
ready to be planted according to Northwest planting calendars. There are
several diffierent drop off points throughout the Seattle (and Mercer
Island) where people can pick up their flats, including our (green) house.
In this Installment: *Tomatoes (many good varities!), Basil, Summer and
Winter Squash, Amaranth, Cucumbers, Broccoli, Last Chance to Plant Snap
Peas, Eggplant, and much much more.
FYI At this point the order form (Please see attachment) needs to be
emailed, or we need to receive a phone call For more information feel free
to call us with any questions.
The order form is also for those of you who are interested in Fall/Winter
Crops: planted in August/September, please get us the information by early
July (When the Crops are seeded).
Much excitement, Enjoy your memorial day and happy planting!
In community,
Steph, Michael, and Jake,
