Dear Urban Crop Circle,
I finished off the peas weeks ago, since I forgot to do succession planting.
We had a huge strawberry crop which is just about over. I canned seven jars
of jam and made five containers of freezer jam.

The Marion berries will ripen in the next week. Some of the basil is almost
ready to harvest.

My husband and I are going on a week's vacation starting next Monday. It's
hard to leave the crops, even though we have a house-sitter to water
everything.

See you in August!
