Hi Gardeners:

Really, a very big thanks to Julianne Jaz (jazwoman at gmail.com) who taught such a great class on sheet composting. I learned lots and am excited to start collecting materials. I've already checked out the IMEX site:

Attached also is the list of places to pickup free manure, provided by the King County Conservation District.  You'll need Adobe Acrobat to open them, let me know if you have any trouble.

I'm already working on next month's get together, which is sounding like a field trip to Seattle Tilth for a hands-on composting class.  Julia suggested  bicycling over there from Ballard for interested folks, about a 4 mile trip each way.

Jenny says the forum is ready to roll, so within the next couple of days you can expect the introduction to the new UCC Garden Forum.  Woo Hoo!

Anyone who couldn't make the gathering and would like some basic sheet mulching info, I believe we can use the forum to post so it will be available to all.  Putting that on the list of to-do's.
