Jean and everyone, actually, insofar as the coffee cans are concerned, poking holes in the bottoms with a screwdriver and then painting the cans (bright colors, whimsical designs, etc) could actually be a way to use the existing resource on hand and then turning them into planters and something of beauty throughout Nickelsville. Personally, I'd be casting about for art supplies rather than new (or other recycled) containers...<br>
