Dear friends,

Cascadian Edible Landscapes is helping to transform
public and private spaces in and around Seattle into a network of sustainable
community food systems. We build food gardens and do our work at sliding-scale rates so people
of all incomes can afford to grow healthy food. (please see website
for more info). Additionally, we grow edible plants for farmers market and for the first-and-only-in-the-nation Community Supported Plant Starts Program. This fall/winter we will be obtaining our 501(c)3, or umbrella status with another local food related non-profit, to support the CSPS/food justice mission.

Our ideal site can hold a 1200+ square foot greenhouse, is in full sun, is within city of Seattle limits, has access to utilities (we will pay for them), as well for our truck. Lastly, we are looking for a longer term lease. We are flexible, so please contact us if this sounds anything close to what you have.

We will be hosting weekly/bi-weekly work parties on-site with friends and interns throughout the Spring, and our greenhouse coordinator will need accesss for watering every 1-2 days most days February-September. As this is non-profit in mission, we hope to have free rent, and are open to paying a modest rent and/or work-trade.

We are committing to building and maintaining the site, paying utilities, keeping things orderly on site, and growing 40,000 plants from seed! Please see attached photos for an idea of what we are looking to implement, and please connect us with anyone who might want to host this.
