Hello UCC'ers:<br><br>The first gathering of the Urban Crop Circle group is coming up! This is a dynamic young group with the goal of supporting all of us who are looking to grow organic food. Why should you attend?<br><br>~ Because you'd like to learn more about growing food organically .....<br>~ Because the base of knowledge in our group is much more than any one of us ......<br>~ Because Jenny Heins, of Small Wonder Farms, will be sharing her extensive knowledge of tomato growing (including heirlooms) to get us started....<br>~ and because I make killer ginger-molasses cookies that will be there .....<br><br>Tea and cookies will be provided, please bring a mug. Also, if anyone has seeds to share/exchange, bring them along. I had to dig up a lovage plant to make room for rain barrels and have a few cuttings for interested folks (email me if you are interested).<br><br>I look forward to seeing you on Monday.
