Soil: maybe if there's enough interest, I can bribe my "friend with truck" into getting a few yards to spread around Ballard next weekend. I'll keep you posted.

Two other topics that I'll add in the interest of preventing lots of email traffic:

-Anyone interested in some sort of plant swap? I read recently that the trimmings of grapes, raspberries and other vines are easy to plant, now I'm just looking for someone with good grapes who'd like to unload their trimmings on me. Conversely, I have a bunch of oregano that's very tasty.

-On a similar topic, we saved an 8 ft "Emerald Queen Maple" from the Greenwood Fred Meyer trash bin a few weeks ago (the top few inches at the top had snapped off, but that's all), but it doesn't fit with our yard. If someone wants it, it's currently in front of our house -email me for the address.

Thanks!
Chris, thanks for the tip about Sky Nursery ... I am going to check it out. Depending on how much soil I need, if there's any left over I'll let you know.
